Donating Life
Eight years ago, this beautiful family was one of the first clients I photographed. Their oldest daughter was just a baby, bundled up in adorable snow gear and ear muffs while we took pictures at a Christmas tree farm. Now, years later, they've added to their family in more ways than one - a wonderful new baby girl, and an unexpected autoimmune disease for Mom. After the birth of their first girl, Mom's health deteriorated, leading to the discovery of her liver disease. After the birth of their second girl, Dad became the rock of the family as Mom underwent a liver transplant. With Mom now on the road to recovery, their love as a family shines brighter than ever - in part because of a willing organ donor.
