As a mother of three, I understand just how delicate and precious newborns are. Their safety and comfort are my highest priorities in every session. Newborn photography requires specialized skills and knowledge, which is why I have invested in extensive training from experienced photographers, both in-person and through online education. Every session is designed to ensure that your little one is safe, warm, and comfortable at all times while capturing beautiful, timeless images you’ll treasure forever.

Gentle, Baby-Led Posing

Newborns are never forced into unnatural positions. I use baby-led posing techniques, ensuring that each movement is gentle, comfortable, and fully supported. Because newborns lack the ability to hold up their own heads, I take special care to always support their necks and heads when transitioning between poses. Many of the more advanced newborn poses, such as the “froggy pose,” are achieved through composite editing, meaning a baby is never left unsupported at any time. Your little one’s safety is always prioritized over achieving a particular pose.

Temperature & Comfort

A newborn’s ability to regulate body temperature is still developing, which is why I maintain a warm, cozy environment throughout the session. My studio is heated to a comfortable temperature, ensuring your baby stays warm and relaxed, even when undressed for those sweet, curled-up poses. When using props, wraps, and blankets, I always check their temperature before placing the baby in them. If I’m using any props that could feel cool to the touch—such as wooden bowls or metal buckets—I warm them beforehand to avoid discomfort.

Clean & Hygienic Studio

Newborns have delicate immune systems, so hygiene is taken seriously in my studio. All blankets, wraps, and props are thoroughly washed and sanitized between sessions. I also wash my hands frequently and use hand sanitizer before handling your baby. If you prefer, I am more than happy to wear a mask throughout the session for added peace of mind. If I ever feel unwell, I will reschedule to ensure the safety of your baby and family.
