Learning at the Lake
I've been a photographer for eight years, but there is still so much to learn - which is why I decided to ask Destiny D Photography to mentor me. Starting this past summer, Destiny has been teaching me more about lighting, posing, editing, composition, and capturing emotion - and I decided to practice these improved skills with a family session. Since it was 70 degrees in October, we decided to take pictures at the beach. Between the kids' stunning blue eyes and the radiant sunset, we barely noticed the brown, smelly lake water - an unfortunate side effect of living in Wisconsin. Despite the younger children losing interest fast, Destiny and I were able to capture some truly special moments - and I learned some new things along the way.
